Dana W. Hudson has lobbied decision-makers and elected officials on behalf of diverse public and private interests at all levels of government. In addition, she has actively raised funds for political candidates, political action committees and non-profit organizations for nearly 15 years. Dana brings a passion and a command of details to a wide range of issues including defense, homeland and national security, foreign affairs, maritime law, animal protection, transportation and infrastructure, appropriations, agriculture, energy, commerce, and legal reform. The consummate team-player, Dana is a highly-effective coalition-builder in order to forward her clients' goals and priorities.
Dana has successfully designed and implemented grassroots and public affairs campaigns. Dana has also served as a registered foreign agent for the second-largest intergovernmental organization in the world, after the U.N., as well as for a sovereign, foreign government. Dana works with the U.S. Congress, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State and others in order to expand the visibility of her clients’ expertise and technology. Dana successfully leverages her network to establish strategic partnerships which serve to further her clients’ objectives. As Of-Counsel to The National Group, Dana is assisting the firm in lobbying for clients in the defense, homeland security, energy, transportation, and health care arenas.
Dana serves on the Communications team of Ladies DC, is a member of the OSS Society and Women in Government Relations. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech, with a B.A. in Political Science, Concentrating in Legal Studies.
